Are You Ready : Meet the Crew

Special Announcement : You ask for it and We Heard You,  Are You Ready, a Photographer's Workshop  Early Birds Rate (RM150) now extended to 5th December

For couple of years through out my career, I have the opportunity to work together with 2 Finest photographers, they are passionate and hunger for more. Flanking with me in the upcoming Photographer's Are You Ready Workshop, none other than Radzie and Alvin.

Photog Name : Radzie Rahman a.k.a "Z"

Shooting Since : 1997(film), then 2008(digital)

Studio : Seri Gaya Studio, D-6-2, 1st Floor, Lintas Jaya New UpTownship, Jalan Lintas, Kepayan Highway, 89507 Penampang, Sabah.

Wake Up time/ Bedtime : wakeup 8am, sleep 2/3am

Snack in my camera Bag I Can't live without : Snickers, Glico Rocky, M&M, Kit Kat, (sorry im a junkfood addict)

Favorite Destination : Anywhere i'm shooting for the first time

Most Unusual Shoot location : at a Graveyard at night

Ideal Client : who can recognize the difference between a good photo and a great photo.

Can't shoot without : my 85mm f1.8

Mentors : All the wonderful Pro Photogs online; Scott Bourne, Joe McNally, David Hobby, Chase Jarvis, Bert Stephani, Louis Pang, Mark Wallace and more.

Favorite Moment : right after getting "the shot" when i show my customer/bride/groom the lcd of the camera and they go Whoaah!

Web/Blog Site : Ziedesign.com/blog

Photog Name : Alvin Ting

Shooting Since : As a casual hobby since 2007, as a serious endeavour
since early 2009

Studio : I'd like to say anywhere since I like to shoot outdoors but I
guess the real answer would be none yet.

Wake Up time/ Bedtime : I still got a dayjob so its the usual 7am - 12am
unless I'm processing photos which would turn me into a zombie and I'll
sleep sometimes around 4am.

Snack in my camera Bag I Can't live without : Erm... I've never had the
need to store food in my camera bag yet.

Favorite Destination : Anywhere that will interest my photographic eye.
My dream destination would be Japan.

Most Unusual Shoot location : Shooting a traditional wedding rite on a
hanging bridge with at least two dozen people on it. Very very tight space.

Best Client : Well so far, officially, I've only shot one wedding as a
principle photographer and one engagement ceremony.. so I guess they're
my fave clients right now. My ideal client is one who will give their
entire faith in me as a photographer with full creative control over the
shoot and of course, who wants all the photos to be in B+W. That would
be my fave client of all time!

Can't shoot without : My eyes.

Mentor : George Yong, of course (Hahaha...), but I'm also heavily
influenced by the works of Dino Lara and Manuel Librodo Jr. They're both
photographers from the Philippines (although Manuel is now based in
Bangkok) and are masters at capturing the story during the moment of the
particular shot and translates the mood of the story through the usage
of colours (or lack of it).

Favorite Moment : Every time I know I nailed a good shot.
