From my Twits yesterday, I was on a Pre Wedding Session Shoot with Adzrul in the morning. As usual I attach one of the SB-900 on a monopod. We're out on a Open Location at 10 am where the Sun is so Bright and Strong pouring on us like a huge Tan machine. It rained Heavily the day before and I've expected the Hot Heat is waiting for us during the Shoot. So, yup I asked Adzrul to hold the Monopod High Up and firing the flash at TTL-0. Some might be wondering why do I use the flash instead of Reflector in that situation, well it's just preference I guess. Sure enough my over one year old SB-900 went to so many different type of Climates and Humidity, but I guess the time is up. The Funny Thing is We didn't see it coming, Thermometer shows at minimum level but surprisingly The Unit was Hot, does the Thermometer measures the Heat of the Batteries? Bulb? or the whole Unit? makes me wonder. Knowing Nikon only gave 1 year Warranty, I guess this time I gotta pay for this one.
