This is where it all happen, remember the time when I posted on Twitter and Facebook about getting the Underwater Camera equipment? Well this is the shoot that I'm talking about. Abran and Ann approach me with a certain agenda in their mind which is to get me off my zone and dip into water. They gave me the challenge and I'm happy to accept it. I've never done any Shots underwater, so does knowing the right equipment doing it. I started my research about Underwater Photography by messaging for help in FB and Twitter. Then I came across this cool water Proof plastic bag, which you can dump your DSLR in it and sealed it shut. The Good thing about this is, It is very cheap, very Light, very portable and did I say cheap? I was so excited about this one, Then I found out the Quality is not up to what I've expected. The Color are saturated, The Quality Weaken, the vision Blurred and the Sharpness are just dull. Then I've got a headache thinking what should I do now.
Then I remembered a friend/client of mine who is a Underwater Photographer and seeking for his help. Unfortunately He is abroad for some time before coming back in which will be too late for the shoot. He then directed me to another friend of his, Jason. Jason has been operating Underwater Photography and Videography locally here in Sabah. I've contacted him and Immediately received a positive response, and Said He's more than Happy to help me out. Without anything to expect I headed to Jason's office Scubazoo, Oh My Gosh the Equipment is so HUGE and HEAVY How on earth am I suppose to maneuver this beast? It has a BIG dome with two Long Arms of flash on each side. We then met up, discuss about all the FUN Geeky stuffs like the Angle, the Light, The color, The balance etc. And off We go for the first tryout, just to get the hang of the situation underwater. I have trouble sinking and stay sinking, I float most of the time and this causes me alot of time wastage resulting in high fatigue session. Was not Confident after the first tryout, but my time is running out. I remembered everything that He thought me and hopefully that is enough for Abran and Ann's Shoot.
The Day has finally come and I've no idea if any of my tricks would work. I don't like the idea about the tiles in the Swimming Pool, I'm thinking to get the Image a lil bit different. Then We decided to cover the Pool a Black Drop. Have a quick briefing with the Bride and Groom on how to communicate in the Pool. And Off We go, In the Water, There's many thing playing in my mind especially on how am I gonna get the Light to Fall on their entire face? My Challenge is to get them well lit as much as possible. Light travel straight on land but it can be tricky in the water. Well, I think after all that I'm not very sure if this is what I'm looking for but one thing for sure They are well lit and We had so much Fun underwater. Here's the result.

Some Behind the Scenes, That is Jason Helping me to setup the equipment. Gilbert is there too, He's more excited then me in this assignment. Gil helped me alot in setting up the Backdrop, And This session couldn't have run smoothly without the help of these two guys. The Bride and Groom are awesome and I couldn't emphasize enough that We have the Coolest Bride and Groom.

You've done the very good underwater session for this pre-wed shot bro..:) and, from what I see here.. You were really talented on this than some other photog in our land.. :) I think this new experienced of yours would be your next great idea to get some more 'ting-ting' to your account. :) Keep on doing your great work!
