Today marks our third year Wedding anniversary together as Husband and Wife. Across these years We've met so many new great friends in variety of network, Social Media such as Facebook, Twitter and Blog to just being ol'skool and say the simple word "hi" face to face. Once again, We would like to take today's opportunity take a trip down memory lane to share with our current and New Friends what we experienced before to during our Wedding. We're given the key to plan our Wedding on our own of course with some advice from both of our parents along the way, but practically the whole event was our own decision.. this is very rare for being the eldest in both families. Here's What We came up with,
I like number "7" ever since I was a little boy, It has stuck with me for as long as I can remember and became my Lucky number, and that is how our Wedding Date became 07.07.07. As you notice our Wedding Theme Colors are Black, Red and White, this idea came from my Football Team Manchester United and WWE Raw. Speakin of WWE RAW, that is part of our Wedding theme for the night, I'm a Big Fan of WWE(then was WWF) ever since Wrestlemania I in 1985 I was 5 then, I remembered my Childhood Hero the Hulkster teaming up with Mr.T taking on Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff, what a Classic. Hulkster became my hero instantly after that, years gone and Hulkster no longer in the business and I have another Hero as I approach to my Teenage year, Stone Cold Steve Austin. I always love Steve's Entrance, his 4X4 truck causes tons of damage for the WWE, and that's how we get our Wedding Car Idea. Nana's family are into 4WD, heard of Borneo Safari? yup those kind.. So We get her Dad's Car to be our official Bridal Car, with numbers of other 4WD convoying along with it, the BJ40, BJ60 you name it.
Why the Indian Theme? Nana's Grandad is an Indian. Nana's late Grandma always wanted to see one of her grandchild to get married in Indian Costume. Most of Sabahan mixed with different type of ethnic and culture, and hardly Pure Chinese, Indian or Malay. Nana is a mixed Indian-Sino Dusun and myself a Sino Kadazan. That Makes Eva a Indian-Sino Kadus, It's Complicated.. anyway I think I'll leave that for now. Following images captured by our Photographer for the day, Louis Pang. Hope you guys like what you see and feel what we felt on our Wedding. Thank you so much for the great wishes and happy browsing.
