Dearest Student.
I'm writing you this because I misses you. When I first get to know photography, choosing a camera is rather hard. Brands, Price, User-friendly, Durability, Quality, Returned-of-investment all these are running in my head. I seek answers in many way, going through this journey alone. I've tried, asking questions, finding assistant jobs or just a waterboy, but all to no avail. I started my photography journey just like most of you, not knowing how to control or even translate what you see with your naked eye through the end of the lens. It is a bumpy ride, but throughout all obstacles, I manage to emerge from the rubble and pull some great things with me. It was dark at first, but when I see the light, everything seems to be so bright. If you're wondering why I'm running classes and share knowledge that's because I do not want you to feel lost.. like me. I've told you I'm an open book 7 years ago and still am today. I'm very lucky to see some of you already running your own studio, working with an International Photographer, became a speaker, aren't afraid to go out there and rock it! You have no idea how proud I am. This industry is ever changing, given that technology evolves everyday... I too still learning and never get tired of it. Time Flies, and many new faces step into the field, fortunate that today plenty of classes or workshop can be found easily plus it's conducted by world renowned photographer, unlike our time before. Well, right now I can take a step back and let them run the show while I continue what I'm passionate of doing, channeling my energy. Don't get me Wrong, I'm still here where you can easily find if you needed answers. There many World Class Individual that you can look up to and gain knowledge from. Now that my journey is entering a new phase, I hope you'll do the same for the newcomers... Like What I did for you the first time. Never keep all the knowledge to yourself, always give a helping hand and help each other to succeed, after all we are all industrial colleague. I want to also thank my mentors, for the guidance and grooming to what I am today. We're almost entering 2016, which means I'll be going into my 9th year career that's almost a decade, gosh! and I'm still seeking for plenty of answers. I didn't realize I wrote such a long and lengthy post, I hope I doesn't sound like an old Unker. Ok, gotta stop now, the point is I misses you and remember you don't have to be the best, You just have to be better than yesterday. Hope to see you again, on the field or on a coffee table.
From your Long Winded Unker.
